Dried Kelp Block

Dried Kelp Blocks are compact storage blocks made from nine dried kelp. They serve as an efficient fuel source and are primarily used for storage. Dried kelp blocks can be mined with any tool or by hand, but a hoe breaks them the fastest.

With a hardness of 0.5, they are easy to break. As fuel, a dried kelp block burns for 200 seconds, smelting 20 items—2.5 times the efficiency of coal. However, crafting them requires smelting nine kelp first, reducing their net fuel value. They also have a 50% chance of increasing a composter's level and can be traded with expert butchers for emeralds.
